FAQs

  • Either is fine! RSVP via the tab at the top of this page or by mailing the RSVP card sent to you with your invitation.

  • Please RSVP by Monday, March 24, 2025.

  • Absolutely! Children are welcome at both the ceremony and the reception. Please note your family size in your RSVP. Due to space limitations, we do ask that there be a maximum of 2 adults per invitation.

  • Our ceremony will take place outdoors. Should the forecast call for significant rain, we will either delay the ceremony or move it into the reception barn. You will receive a text message notifying you of any changes.

The reception will be in the historic barn on the property, with bar services and lawn games located just outside.

  • Think “dressy-casual.” We will be outside or close to it for most of the ceremony and reception, but button-downs, slacks or khakis, dresses, skirts, and pantsuits are all fine. We recommend keeping an eye on the weather and packing an umbrella for that lake effect rain just in case! If you are an outdoorsy type, plan on wearing something you can pair down and packing some good walking shoes to explore the National Park between the ceremony and reception!

  • Our ceremony begins at 11:00am, so plan to be seated around 10:45.

  • 3220 Ira Road, Akron, Ohio

  • Follow the signs to park along the gravel drive and behind the barn.

  • In the spirit of being present, we ask guests to refrain from using their phones during the ceremony, including taking pictures. Taking photos during the reception is welcome, however!

  • Cocktail hour will start at 4:30pm, with dinner served at 5:00pm.

  • Please see our “Things to Do” tab at the top of this page for some great options. We strongly encourage guests to explore the National Park and nearby small towns like Peninsula, Hudson, and Chagrin Falls. We also provide the names of several of our favorite restaurants for lunch!
